This site is an experiment: online appointment booking where organisers set up a calendar and visitors book slots in it.

Hosting

The site runs on Vercel Inc. (data centre Frankfurt am Main). When you open a page, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested page and browser in server logs (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR, secure operation). If Vercel Web Analytics is enabled, it counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual people.

Database and e-mail

All data lives in a PostgreSQL database at Neon Inc. (region Frankfurt am Main). E-mails (booking confirmations, cancellations, notifications, password links) are sent through Resend Inc., which receives the recipient address and the content of each mail.

When you book an appointment

We store your name, e-mail address, optional phone number and note, the booked slot, your browser language and a truncated, hashed form of your IP address (abuse protection only). The organiser of that calendar sees this data in order to hold the appointment (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR) and is responsible for any further use.

You receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to view and cancel the appointment. The booking is kept until the organiser deletes it or the calendar, or closes their account.

When you have an account

For an organiser account we store name, e-mail address, a hashed password, the chosen language and your calendars with their settings and bookings. You can delete your account at any time on the account page; this also deletes all calendars and bookings.

Cookies and local data

• ex_session: keeps you signed in (30 days, accounts only).
• ex_locale: remembers the chosen language (1 year).
• No advertising or tracking cookies, no third-party scripts; fonts are served by this site itself.

Abuse protection

Sign-in attempts, registrations and bookings are counted per address or connection (hashed IP, 24 hours) to slow down automated attacks (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to hallo@plannin.de. Booking data can also be viewed, and the appointment cancelled, via the link in your confirmation e-mail.
